"Shadow Ripples." I decided to call this photo "Shadow Ripples" because the reflection in conjunction with the shadows of the building created this unique bubble water ripple looking effect. The subject matter looks like as if it flowing water such as the unique shapes and swirls created in the ocean on the sunny day, hence the title.
The Process
This photo came to be due to exploring and playing around with different camera settings. On a normal shooting day I usually adjust the norm such as aperture, ISO and shutter speed. I usually don't mess with the white balance since most of the times the photo turns out fine without needing to adjust the white balance. However, on this particular I was feeling experimental and played around white balance to see what difference it makes to switch it up and it made a very big difference. Without switching it the original tone of the photo is a red almost orange colour however by adjusting the white balance it made the photo cooler and turned the red colour into this purple one. I had learned that it's very important to play around with different camera settings.
